29. New York Giants (28)

At this point in the season, it’s tough not to feel bad for the New York Giants when looking at how they just can’t seem to catch a break each week, especially during the games in which the losses come by single digits. This time around, it was the Washington Redskins that were too much for the Giants to handle, as this was another perfect example of too little, too late for Pat Shurmur’s squad.

The fact that it took New York until the fourth quarter just to score their first touchdown of the game shows what kind of afternoon this was, even if Washington deserves credit for how great the defense has looked in recent weeks. With Eli Manning having two of the league’s most explosive players in Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley to work with, the Giants should be a team that has little trouble finding the end zone a few times each game, showing just how much of a struggle this year has been for the most part.

Thanks to only having one win heading into November, New York appears to be on their way to earning another high draft pick in the first round when the time comes in the spring. By then, maybe the Giants will feel much different about finding a replacement for Manning since age seems to be catching up with the veteran, and not in the best way.
