The 2018 NFL Trade Deadline is on Tuesday and the Cincinnati Bengals should look to add these targets for their second-half push.

After a win over Tampa Bay, the Cincinnati Bengals sit at 5-3 as they enter their bye week. Things are not perfect, however. That win came despite the offense going dormant in the second half and the defense nearly giving the game away to Ryan Fitzpatrick. It also followed a two-game losing streak to Pittsburgh and Kansas City which threatened to break their season, and a bundle of injuries which have left them battered and bruised.

This team is in a good position for the second half of the year, but it is tenuous; their play lately leaves them set up to fail, and their injuries leave them struggling to even find healthy bodies at certain positions.

They could stand pat and hope the bye week gives them time to heal enough for the stretch run, and they probably will. That’s a risky proposition, one which reeks of complacency in a way that will make them vulnerable to being destroyed by the very flaws which have been clear for weeks.

That’s where Tuesday comes into play. The NFL Trade Deadline for the 2018 season falls at 4 p.m. ET and, outside of street free agent pickups or guys from the practice squad, they won’t have any path to add talent the rest of the year if they let it go by. Based on the history of this franchise, I doubt they actually make any moves when it’s all said and don, but there are moves to be made if they decide to surprise us and be proactive for once.

There aren’t too many teams out there who’ll be definite sellers this deadline, but those who are do have some interesting names to key in on. Here are the ones I think Cincinnati may have at least some interest in, and what it might take to bring them in.
