Lions vs. Vikings, Week 9 live stream: Watch NFL online
By Randy Gurzi
The Detroit Lions face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9 of the 2018 NFL Season. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.
Week 9 brings us another battle in the NFC North as the Minnesota Vikings (4-3-1) will host the Detroit Lions (3-4). The Vikings enter this game off another disappointing game — which we have said far too many times this season already.
After going out and landing Kirk Cousins in free agency, the Vikings were supposed to be able to take the next step after a 13-3 campaign with Case Keenum under center. While Cousins has looked better than Keenum, the wins just aren’t coming as easily.
They need to find a rhythm in the second half of the season and their first game in that endeavor pits them against the Lions, who could be looking toward the future.
Head coach Matt Patricia has done a good job rebounding from an atrocious start, but the Lions still have a losing record. They also moved on from one of their most recognizable offensive players as they sent Golden Tate to the Philadelphia Eagles at the trade deadline.
Tate was still productive, but the Lions wanted the third-round pick as well as the ability to rely on Kenny Golladay, who has been a pleasant surprise since being taken in the third round out of Northern Illinois in 2017.
It should be a hard fought game between the two franchises that know one another very well.
