2. Drew Brees throws for three touchdowns

Each week, Drew Brees seems to get better and better. How he plays so well at almost 40 years old is incredible. One issue that has been plaguing him and the team is his lack of passing touchdowns. Since Mark Ingram came back, the team has relied heavily on the run game. That’s good, but it isn’t always going to work out that way.

Going up against the Rams isn’t going to be easy, so Brees will probably have to air it out more than normal. That’s why I’m predicting he’ll throw for at least three touchdowns. Last year against the Rams, Brees only threw one touchdown while Alvin Kamara rushed for one.

Since then, the Rams defensive unit has gotten stronger. Brees is going to have to make sure to get the ball out quick. Aaron Donald was all over Aaron Rodgers last week and he’ll be the same way with Brees. There were some cracks in the defense last week against the Packers, though, and Brees need to take advantage.

Rodgers threw some deep passes and Brees should follow his lead. The Rams let the Packers get some good runs, too. Regardless, I still see Brees having a good day against the Rams. With a home-field advantage, Brees has a chance to have a monster game indoors at the SuperDome.
