2. Oakland Raiders: Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State

This could start to take some of the heat off Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden. If there were any supporters of his move to send edge rusher Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears, they sure were quiet.

That’s probably because the move was baffling. Even more confusing was Gruden trying to figure out why he can’t get pressure on the quarterback as well as saying pass rushers are hard to find.

Well, now they fix their lack of edge players by drafting Nick Bosa out of Ohio State. While Bosa could replace Mack, the fact is this move isn’t courtesy of the highly criticized trade. Instead, this is the pick the Raiders earn for their own inability to win.

As for Bosa, he’s the younger brother of Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa. And as good as the elder Bosa is, many believe Nick can be even better. He’s already done at Ohio State as he decided to focus on his rehab from a surgery. His goal is now to focus on the NFL and he’s about to get picked very high.

For Gruden to get people to stop bashing him though, he’s going to have to hit on the other two picks in this round as well. Especially the one they git in the Mack deal.
