The Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans play on Monday Night Football in Week 9 of the 2018 NFL Season. Which 3-4 team can start the second half on the right foot?

Both the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans come into Week 9 fresh off their bye week and looking to shake off a rusty start. Each franchise is sitting at 3-4 but could make a run in their divisions if they’re able to get their offenses corrected in the second half of the season.

For Tennessee, much of their issues can be traced back to the injury issues at quarterback. Marcus Mariota has had an elbow injury and for a few games, they had to turn to Blaine Gabbert under center. After he was hurt, they had to bring Mariota back before he was fully healed.

After a week off, they look to rebound against one of the better defenses in the league. The Cowboys have been playing great on that side of the ball, but their offense has been incredibly inconsistent.

They hope to have addressed this issue with a bye week addition. Dallas sent a first-round pick to the Raiders in exchange for wide receiver Amari Cooper. They’ve been hamstrung without a legitimate No. 1 wideout, which explains why they were willing to pay such a premium for his services.

Monday will be the first time the Cowboys can turn to Cooper, but will it be enough for them to get the win and send Tennessee home upset?

Prediction

This season, Dallas is 3-0 at home and 0-4 on the road. They’re inconsistent but incredibly predictable. Look for them to continue their yo-yo season with an easy win. The Titans defense will make things difficult, but Mariota is trending in the wrong direction.

Final Score: Dallas 26, Tennessee 16
