New Orleans Saints (7-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (5-3)

Sunday, November 11, 1PM ET

I know the Cincinnati Bengals have been solid this season. Heck, they’ve surprised me and many other folks who figured they wouldn’t be in the playoff picture at this point. Despite all of that, there’s little chance they knock off the New Orleans Saints in Week 10.

Right now, the Saints are on a tear. They’ve pulled off eight wins in a row, and just toppled the last undefeated team with their resounding win over the Los Angeles Rams this past Sunday. Drew Brees is playing lights-out football, and his gaggle of offensive lightning rods is making his life all the easier.

Meanwhile, the Bengals have been, well, above average. That’s not to say anything negative about them, as the offense and defense have both played well for much of the season. Unfortunately, they really aren’t anything special at this point. All three of their losses have come against contenders, and the best team they beat (the Atlanta Falcons) is only 4-4.

Andy Dalton, Joe Mixon and A.J. Green will do their darnedest to make this a game. When the clock strikes zero, though, the Saints will have the lead and a shiny 8-1 record to show for their efforts. It’s starting to look like the road to the NFC title goes through New Orleans.

Prediction: Saints win 41-24
