Detroit Lions (3-5) at Chicago Bears (5-3)

Sunday, November 11, 1PM ET

You better believe the Chicago Bears will be watching the Detroit Lions’ embarrassing Week 9 effort against the Vikings. When they watch that film, they’ll see what can happen when you put plenty of pressure on Matthew Stafford.

So don’t be surprised if the Bears spend most of Sunday’s showdown bringing the heat and collapsing the pocket. Even if they don’t rack up 10 sacks like Minnesota did this past weekend, they have more than enough talent to overwhelm the Lions’ overpaid gunslinger.

As for their own offense, Chicago shouldn’t have too much trouble creating points. Mitchell Trubisky is in the middle of a breakout season, and has had fun taking advantage of the wide array of weapons at his disposal. Between the massively improved passing game and the duo of Jordan  Howard and Tarik Cohen in the backfield, the Bears should score early and often.

It’s clear the Lions aren’t contenders for the NFC North crown in 2018. They’ll do their best to keep this one within reach, but the Bears will pull away in the second half while staying atop the division for at least one more week.

Prediction: Bears win 34-13
