3. The defense sacks Andy Dalton 2+ times

For years, the Saints were defined by their incredible offense and their lackluster defense. Thankfully, those times are behind us. Currently, the Saints not only have one of the best offenses in the league but an incredibly talented defense. Last week against the Rams proved that.

Heading into Week 10, I predict the defense will stay on pace and continue to dominate. In addition to that, I predict they will sack Andy Dalton at least twice during the game. Last week against the Rams, the Saints couldn’t get pressure on Goff at all. They only managed an interception but still won the game.

I’d love to see them get takeaways, but they need to pressure Dalton, too. He’s already going to be without his go-to guy, A.J. Green, and the team needs to take advantage. Guys like Demario Davis, Sheldon Rankins and Cameron Jordan need to make Dalton nervous. They either need to sack him or get him to make those costly throws.

In the past two games, the team has walked away with at least interception and I’d like to see them add a sack to that list. Even with rookie Marcus Davenport out, the Saints have plenty of guys to pick up the slack.
