NFL Week 10 is here and the playoff picture is getting more defined, but what will the headlines be from another Sunday’s worth of action on the gridiron?
NFL Week 10 features six divisional matchups on Sunday, meaning teams will have plenty to prove. The AFC East’s two worse teams, the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, face off on Sunday afternoon — with backup quarterbacks starting, no less. In the AFC South, the Jacksonville Jaguars look to stop the Indianapolis Colts’ two-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions travel to take on the Chicago Bears in an NFC North battle.
Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Rams look to bounce back against the Seattle Seahawks in an NFC West duel. The Los Angeles Chargers look to have what should be an easy matchup against the Raiders in the AFC West. Finally, the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles battle it out in an NFC East matchup in primetime — one team is looking to recapture some Super Bowl magic, the other might be looking to replace its entire coaching staff.
There are some other coaches on the hot seat outside of Dallas. Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter comes into NFL Week 10 hoping that FitzMagic can get them back on track. Yet, they need to figure out what they have in Jameis Winston. Also in the conversation, Bills head coach Sean McDermott is in the same position. On the flip side, Marvin Lewis has the Cincinnati Bengals at a comfortable 5-3 and fighting for the AFC North title.
As always, there are so many storylines that will come from Sunday. Here are the top 10 headlines you could see Monday morning.
