28. San Francisco 49ers (28) – Play Monday Night

Can the San Francisco 49ers continue their momentum from Week 9 on Monday against the New York Giants when they came up big in the best way possible in a win over the Oakland Raiders? In a game that was expected to be boring when looking at the two teams playing, Nick Mullens brought some much needed excitement to the 49ers on offense, and all eyes will be on the quarterback to see how he does in his second start.

San Francisco’s season took a turn for the worse early on in 2018 when Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a torn ACL since he was the heart and soul of this team on offense. And even though playoffs are basically out of the question for the 49ers when looking at what they would have to overcome these final two months, at least Mullens can hopefully provide some excitement for the rest of the way.

Plus, when looking at some of the other quarterbacks in a similar situation as Mullens during previous seasons, the San Francisco backup now has a chance to make a name for himself. Who knows, maybe if Mullens continues to put together some impressive outings, it will draw some attention in the offseason for the 49ers when it comes to trade talks.
