NFL Power Rankings, Week 11: Titans shock Patriots, Chargers keep rolling

25. Jacksonville Jaguars (25)
Watching the Jacksonville Jaguars come up short against the Indianapolis Colts the way they did after all of the effort put into the comeback is just another example of what this year has become for the defending AFC South champions. Early on in September, the Jaguars seemed to be on their way to another dominating year in the AFC before everything fell apart by losing six of seven games, including Sunday’s loss to the Colts.
Not even the return of Leonard Fournette was good enough to provide the offense with a much-needed spark as this Jacksonville team just seems to be a complete mess on both sides of the football, especially on defense. The whole reason why the Jaguars were able to earn a trip to the AFC Championship last winter was due to the defense emerging as one of the best in the league, and watching them struggle week after week is beyond frustrating.
Once again, one can only imagine what the job security for Doug Marrone is like since the head coach hasn’t been making a strong case for Jacksonville to keep him around. Going from heavy Super Bowl contender to sitting at the bottom of the division race was the last thing the Jaguars expected for 2018 with no signs of things improving anytime soon.
