With running back Le’Veon Bell reportedly set on sitting out for the duration of the 2018 NFL Season, we look ahead to the 5 best landing spots in 2019

The back and forth regarding whether or not Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell will play this season seems to have been resolved.

As reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN, Bell has no intentions of playing this season as he holds out for a long-term contract in favor of the one-year franchise tag the Steelers had placed on him.

It really should come as no shock to anyone that Bell intends to sit out. He’s never backed down from his stance that he will skip the whole season in search of long-term security. His goal also seems to include preserving his body as he goes into free agency.

No position sees players fade faster than running back, which is why Bell wants to capitalize with as much financial security as he can possibly get. And no matter where you stand on him sitting out, he’s likely to get what he’s looking for.

Should Bell hit the open market in 2019 free agency, Bell will have plenty of suitors dying to gain his services. He’s not only one of the best pure runners in the game, but he can also take over a game as a receiver. That’s something that increases his value tremendously as he can transform an entire offense.

With all that being said, we examine the five most likely landing spots should he find his way out of Pittsburgh in the 2019 NFL Season.
