No. 1 Indianapolis Colts

For some reason, the pairing of Le’Veon Bell and the Indianapolis Colts just makes sense. They’re a team that can move the ball on offense thanks to quarterback Andrew Luck. He’s had some excellent seasons in the NFL and this year, he’s slowly getting back to himself after missing all of 2017 with a shoulder injury.

The Colts are also starting to build a better roster. They’ve added some talent on defense with players like Darius Leonard and Malik Hooker. On offense, they have a bruising guard in Quenton Nelson, who can develop into one of the best in the game at his position.

What better way to open the offense up more than to put Le’Veon Bell in the backfield and have him run behind Nelson and the improving offensive line.

While playing with a strong young core and a franchise quarterback in Luck should entice Bell, so too will the money they can throw his way. Indy is slated to have the most cap space in 2019 as OverTheCap.com estimates them to have $125 million to spend.

Should Indy land Bell, draft a wide receiver, and use that cap space to fill some other holes, they would be well on their way to being contenders once again.
