There are always several players who should be part of the Pro Bowl, but somehow get left out. Here we predict the 5 biggest snubs in the 2018 NFL season.

After the 2018 NFL season is over, all eyes will be on the postseason. That will never change. However, there’s still another event that draws some attention — the Pro Bowl. While the game itself may leave a lot to be desired, there’s still a lot of clout that goes along with being named to the All-Star festivities.

Anytime a player ends their season with a Pro Bowl nod, it’s a testament to their hard work — and it’s also fun for fans to see how many players from their favorite team make the cut.

Of course, there’s also always the discussion about the players who get left out. Year after year, great players are snubbed from the honor and we all discuss and break down what exactly happened.

Here, we look ahead and try to predict five players who won’t make the Pro Bowl, despite having Pro Bowl-worthy seasons.

Denzel Ward, CB, Cleveland Browns

There was a consensus out there who believed the Cleveland Browns should draft Bradley Chubb with the No. 4 overall pick. The front office disagreed as they went in a different direction.

Feeling comfortable with Myles Garrett and Emmanuel Ogbah as defensive ends, GM John Dorsey pulled the trigger on cornerback Denzel Ward out of Ohio Stats. So far, the move looks brilliant.

Ward has already registered three interceptions and defended 10 passes for the Browns. He’s also forced a fumble and has shown no hesitation in going after the ball carrier. For the season, he has 42 total tackles and three tackles for loss.

Even with all that, a rookie like Ward can be overlooked as some of the bigger names could get the nod over him, even though he’s more than deserving.
