5. Vance Joseph

Firing Vance Joseph after his first season would have been a questionable move by the Denver Broncos since most head coaches tend to receive the benefit of the doubt during their first year or so. But when looking at the expectations surrounding the Broncos heading into 2018 along with the results, Joseph may be out of luck this time around.

Bringing Case Keenum on board was supposed to help Denver return to their winning ways from a few years ago before Peyton Manning retired, although it was literally going to be impossible to replace the future Hall of Famer. Over the last two years, a reliable quarterback was one of the main factors holding the Broncos back from reaching their true potential, and instead of Keenum fixing their issues, the struggles on offense are still there.

With six losses in seven games, it’s officially time for Joseph to hit the panic button in Denver since it’s safe to say this team will need be going to the playoffs for a third year in a row. Some will say it’s unfair to blame Joseph for the mess going on, but maybe Joseph just isn’t the right man for the position to get the Broncos back on track.
