2019 NFL Mock Draft, Week 11: Giants get Justin Herbert, Ed Oliver slips

9. Denver Broncos: Andraez ‘Greedy’ Williams, CB, LSU
The Denver Broncos need to make some changes. Their issues were summed up by former receiver Demaryius Thomas after he and his new team defeated Denver. The first game Thomas played with the Houston Texans came down to the final play.
Denver had gotten into field goal range but then got conservative. Instead of trying for the end zone, they settled on a long field goal and missed. Thomas said that’s how they do things, but was glad to be in Houston where the like winning.
"“That’s what they do over there,” Thomas said via Michael Silver of NFL.com. “I ain’t a part of that no more. We like to win over here.”"
Denver has fielded a great defense for years, but the offense has fallen off tremendously. They need a new direction on offense, but at this point, it seems unlikely they’re ready to try for a first-round pick again. They were burnt by Paxton Lynch, so sticking with Case Keenum might be their plan.
If so, they can once again stock up defensive talent. That’s what leads to them adding Greedy Williams from LSU. Arguably the best cover corner in the draft, Williams can join forces with Chris Harris, Jr. and once again make Denver’s secondary a No-Fly Zone. As for the offense, well, maybe they can get things figured out in time.
