3. New York Jets: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

Things could look different in 2019 for the New York Jets. There have been whispers about head coach Todd Bowles job security and those only got louder in their latest loss. Playing against the struggling Bills, Bowles’ team basically didn’t show up to play.

Matt Barkley started on Nov. 11 after singing with the team 12 days prior to that. The Jets defense then proceeded to allow Barkley to look like a Pro Bowl quarterback. He led the Bills to a 41-10 win in the most shocking game of the weekend.

What was really evident in this one though was the time allotted to Barkley. He was sacked just one time and the Jets need to do something about that. Here they try as they select Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell. The 6-5, 260-pound redshirt junior returned for one more season and put himself in discussion to be a top-10 pick by doing so.

After recording 9.5 sacks as a redshirt sophomore he’s come back and put up 8.5 more in the first 10 games this season. His overall tackles have taken a dip, but his pass rush moves are as crisp as ever and he could improve the entire Jets defense.
