Atlanta Falcons (4-6) at New Orleans Saints (9-1)

Thursday, November 22, 8:20PM ET

At this point, the Atlanta Falcons are all but out of the NFC playoff picture. They seemed to be making a push back towards relevance, but two-straight losses have essentially made the hill too tall to climb as work our way through the final few weeks of the season.

It seems even more assured that the Falcons will be headed for an early vacation when you see that they’re scheduled to face the New Orleans Saints in Week 12.

Right now, the Saints may be the most dangerous team in the league. The offense, led by Drew Brees and his plethora of playmakers, simply cannot be slowed. Even the New Orleans defense, which struggled out of the gates, has improved each and every week while perfecting the bend-but-don’t-break approach.

This is an exciting divisional rivalry that should make this matchup one worth watching. Unfortunately, I don’t think the Falcons have it in them to topple one of the NFL’s hottest clubs. Barring something unforeseen, the Saints should walk away with their tenth win as they continue making a case for themselves as Super Bowl favorites.

Prediction: Saints win 41-28
