Seattle Seahawks (5-5) at Carolina Panthers (6-4)

Sunday, November 25, 1PM ET

I seriously cannot pick the Carolina Panthers correctly. For the last two weeks, I’ve rolled with them as who I was predicting to win, and have walked away with a big fat “L” across my forehead. Chances are that’ll probably happen again, but whatever.

There are a couple of reasons I’m choosing to go with the Panthers again. The most important is that they’ve been deadly at home this season, winning every contest they’ve played at Bank of America Stadium. Carolina has been destroyed in their road games, but being at their home field seems to bring out the best in this club.

The Seattle Seahawks, however, can’t be discounted. Despite the major roster overhaul that happened this offseason, they’ve shown a surprising competitiveness. It usually has to do with Russell Wilson and his ability to carry this offense, but it is what it is. The main takeaway here is  the Seahawks are on the cusp of being a playoff team, and desperately need this win.

They won’t get it, though. Cam Newton is having a sensational season, and will get the best of Seattle’s rebuilt defense. Look for him to lean on playmakers like Christian McCaffrey and D.J. Moore, allowing the Panthers to stay undefeated at home in 2018.

Prediction: Panthers win 25-23
