NFL Power Rankings, Week 12: Cowboys come back to life, Saints march on
By Randy Gurzi
The NFL Power Rankings ahead of Week 12 have some changes as the Dallas Cowboys got a huge road win to keep their hopes for their division title alive
Week 11 of the 2018 NFL season kicked off with a game between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks which proved to be an exciting game that came down to the wire. The week will end with the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, which will be for some serious bragging rights between the two 9-1 clubs.
Inbetween those games, there were a lot of exciting games that will have some serious impact on the way the season unfolds, as well as how our 2018 NFL Power Rankings look.
One of the more impactful games was the contest between the Houston Texans and the Washinton Redskins. While both entered and left the week in first place in their respective divisions, Washington came out with a huge loss. That would be the loss of starting quarterback Alex Smith, who suffered a badly broken leg and is done for the year.
That opens up the NFC East, especially considered the Dallas Cowboys pulled within a game of them thanks to another road win. After taking out the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10, they went to Atlanta and upset the Falcons with a last-second win.
Another team that stood out was the New Orleans Saints, who continue to roll. After scoring 51 against Cincinnati last week, the Saints put up 48 on the defending champion Eagles.
With all that being taken care of, we can now check in on our 2018 NFL Power Rankings, Week 12 edition.
