On Monday night at the LA Coliseum, the  Los Angeles Rams outlasted the Chiefs. Who were the key performers in the wild victory?

What a way to put an explanation point on Week 11. Sometimes the event doesn’t live up to the hype. On other occasions it exceeds expectations. And that’s what was experienced on Monday night at the L.A. Coliseum in what turned out to be the third-highest scoring game in the 99-year history of the NFL between the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs.

Sean McVay’s Rams outlasted Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs, 54-51. It was a back-and-forth affair that featured multiple lead changes and the total of 14 touchdowns. The scoring was not at all done by these explosive offenses as the defensive units got into the act as well, especially when it comes to McVay’s club.

Second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the team’s offense rolled up 546 yards on Wade Phillips’ defense. But Reid’s club also made his share of mistakes and those miscues would prove to be crucial in the long run. Still, the Chiefs owned a four-point lead with 2:47 to play before some late heroics by the Rams’ quarterback Jared Goff and the Los Angeles’ secondary.

When it was all said and done, one team made a few more mistakes than the other.  There were many outstanding performances on both sides of the ball by both the Chiefs and Rams. That was especially true for the latter, who scored their seven touchdowns in four different ways.

So who were the biggest stars for McVay’s team on Monday night as the team raised its record to an NFL-best 10-1?
