The Dallas Cowboys and Washington each have players who will be difference makers in their Week 12 Thanksgiving showdown.

The time has come for the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys to do battle once again on Thanksgiving, and for both teams there is a lot at stake. A win by the Cowboys puts them in a tie for first place with Washington in the NFC East. A win by the Redskins and they have a two-game lead on their division rival with five weeks to go in the season.

The Cowboys and the Redskins have a great rivalry, in fact it is one of the greatest rivalries in the history of the NFL and even sports. These two teams have had some big-time battles and even more so, have had some big-time players wear their jerseys in those battles.

Speaking of big-time players, this Thanksgiving both the Cowboys and the Redskins have players on their roster that if they aren’t thankful for having them now, should be thankful for once the game is over, because they are going to have an impact on this game.

The Cowboys have made some smart decisions and maybe some not so great decisions when it comes to choosing their roster in recent seasons. The same can be said for the Redskins, but both teams have players we need to watch a little more closer than usual, and that includes both quarterbacks in Dak Prescott of the Cowboys and Colt McCoy of Washington.

There is the past and the present of running backs in this game too with Ezekiel Elliott entering the game as the second leading rusher in the league, and for the Redskins they have a rejuvenated Adrian Peterson who at 33-years old is back playing at a very respectable level.

Many players will play on Thanksgiving Day for the Cowboys and the Redskins, but here are 3 Must Watch Players for the two franchises as they play for the 118th time with the Cowboys leading the overall series, 70-45-2.
