2. Demarcus Lawrence

In the first meeting against the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys defensive end Demarcus Lawrence didn’t record a sack, but did record seven tackles in what was a three-point loss for the Cowboys.

On Thanksgiving, it would be tough to imagine Lawrence doesn’t gain at least a sack against the Redskins. Since that first game against the Redskins, Lawrence has went on to have a sack in two of the past three games, giving him eight on the season, along with 44 tackles and one forced fumble. This past Sunday, Lawrence had five tackles and 1.5 sacks in the win over the Atlanta Falcons.

This season Lawrence has played very well, and not just in the Atlanta game, but in 10 games played he’s recorded at least a half sack six times. Against the Detroit Lions he collected three sacks in that game.

Lawrence is a dominating defensive end, and with the Cowboys defense playing at a higher level than the first time they faced the Redskins a little over a month ago. In this game, watch Lawrence and see he and and the rest of the Dallas defense can take advantage of the opportunity in front of them on Thursday in front of a national audience.
