The Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants face off in Week 12 of the 2018 NFL Season, here are 5 bold predictions for the NFC East showdown

Neither the Philadelphia Eagles or New York Giants thought they would be entering Week 12 with the records they currently own. Philadelphia just dropped their second loss in a row and they’re now 4-6 on the season.

After a tough one-touchdown loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in Week 10, the Eagles were thoroughly embarrassed by the New Orleans Saints the following week. The 48-7 defeat highlighted their issues on the defensive side of the ball, but it also showed their offense has some problems as well.

As for the Giants, they’re finally starting to see things click. They’re on a two-game winning streak, but that has only moved them to 3-7 on the season. They also won against the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers — neither of which are teams that have been great on the season.

As for the last time these two teams faced one another — back in Week 6 — the Eagles were able to score an easy win by a score of 34-13. After that game, the Eagles looked to be on the way to rebounding their season as they were 3-3. The Giants conversely looked to be in line for the No. 1 pick with a 1-5 record. No one would have guessed at that time that the Giants would be the hotter team when they met again here.

Now each tries to salvage what’s left of the 2018 NFL Season and here are five bold predictions for the NFC East rivalry game.
