4. Wentz rebounds with no picks

The one thing that the Philadelphia Eagles had going for them this season despite their struggles was the solid play of quarterback Carson Wentz. He hasn’t been the reason for their losses, and he’s shown no ill effects from a torn ACL suffered last season that took him a couple of weeks into this season to fully recover from.

In Week 11, however, Wentz didn’t have his best game. The entire team struggled in a 48-7 loss to the New Orleans Saints and Wentz wasn’t immune from the issues. He was inaccurate and completed just 19-of-33 passes. What was worse was he had no touchdowns and three interceptions.

It was his first game with no touchdowns — as well as his first with multiple interceptions. Surely part of the issue was how quickly they fell behind as Wentz was just trying all he could to get the ball moving.

This week against a Giants defense that’s been an issue all season, Wentz should be able to get back on track. Look for him to not only find the end zone once again but also be much safer with the ball. Wentz should end this game with no interceptions, which will keep them in the game.
