NFL Power Rankings, Week 13: Cowboys, Seahawks heating up at perfect time

26. Detroit Lions (23)
The Detroit Lions have come up short on numerous heartbreakers throughout the 2018 season, but what took place on Thanksgiving was a new low for even this team. As great as it was to see LeGarrette Blount have one of his better games with two touchdowns to go along with 88 rushing yards, it was some poor decision making by Matthew Stafford at key times that played a part in the outcome of this one.
It was one thing for Stafford to throw that costly interception towards the end of the fourth quarter that was returned by Eddie Jackson for the go-ahead score. But watching the Lions quarterback record another interception in the end zone with just over a minute left was beyond frustrating since all signs pointed to this game heading into overtime.
By sitting on the bottom of the NFC North with a 4-7 record, Detroit may soon be already looking ahead to the 2019 season, which is the last thing Matt Patricia expected in his first year as head coach. Whether they want to admit it or not, the Lions may start to hear the conversation heat up over whether Stafford is one of the most overrated quarterbacks in the NFL.
