25. Cincinnati Bengals (18)

Things are quickly falling apart for the Cincinnati Bengals when seeing how this team not only lost their third game in a row on Sunday after falling to the Cleveland Browns, but also have now lost five of six games. Early on in the season, the Bengals were viewed as an actual threat in the AFC when seeing how they jumped out to a 4-1 start, but this is the perfect example that no matter what a record is, no team is ever guaranteed to earn a trip to the playoffs.

Injuries to key players like A.J. Green can’t even be used as an excuse at this point for Cincinnati, as it may be time to just accept the fact this is a bad football team. For reasons that have been difficult to explain over the years, the Bengals always seem convinced on keeping Marvin Lewis around when it’s clear he should have been fired a long time ago, and seeing the team continue to disappoint only backs this statement up even more.

As for the quarterback situation, it will be interesting to see how serious Andy Dalton’s thumb injury is after he was forced to leave Sunday’s game, although Jeff Driskel deserves some credit for stepping in for Cincinnati. Now that they’re officially below .500, it seems like only a matter of time before the Bengals can stick a fork in their disappointing 2018 season.
