DeMarcus Lawrence, Defensive End

No player had more to say about this upcoming game than DeMarcus Lawrence has. Ahead of their biggest game of the year, the team’s sack leader said the Saints will have to match what Dallas brings.

"“They’re going to have to match our intensity,” Lawrence said according to Todd Archer of ESPN. “S—, for 60 minutes straight. If you hit a m—–f—– in the mouth and then they ain’t doing what they’re regularly doing, putting up 50 points, they start to get a little distressed. Now you got them where you want them at, and then you f—ing choke their ass out.”"

This, of course, sparked a response from members of the Saints, including Michael Thomas. While the wide receiver is right to feel slighted, Lawrence won’t be trying to stop him. Instead, he’s going to be going full speed after quarterback Drew Brees.

And after talking a bigger game than he ever has, D-Law will be counted on to back up those words. Should he go quiet in this one, that could be a bad look for him.

Having said that, Lawrence rarely has a quiet game as he’s continually producing quarterback pressure and sacks. In this one, Dallas will need him at his very best.
