The Dallas Cowboys welcome the New Orleans Saints to town for a crucial Week 13 matchup on Thursday Night Football. Five bold predictions for the matchup.

Coming into the 2018 NFL season, Thursday Night Football was often used as a punchline. Though it’s a primetime game, it was often the case that the matchup wouldn’t exactly be up to par. However, that has changed in many cases throughout this current season, much to the pleasure of fans. And that trend should continue as two hot teams, the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints, go toe-to-toe on Thursday in Week 13 from AT&T Stadium.

The Saints are and have been the hottest team in the NFL for some time. They are atop the NFC standing with a 10-1 overall record and have won their last 10 games after dropping the season-opener to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a shootout. What’s more, their offense has been near unstoppable, putting up more points than any other team in the league through the first 12 weeks of the season and with Drew Brees looking like the league MVP.

What started out questionable for the Cowboys has taken a stark turn for the better in recent weeks. After a 3-5 start to the 2018 campaign, Dallas has now notched three consecutive victories and the team currently sits atop the NFC East as they enter this matchup. Their defense has played terrific all season, but the acquisition of Amari Cooper has started to open up the offense for Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott.

Thus, this matchup has a lot on the line for both teams. The Saints are looking to continue to establish their dominance over the rest of the league in 2018, while the Cowboys are looking to maintain their hold on the division lead and to show that they are on the right track with a playoff berth looming.

With so much at stake, this should be quite a fun one in Arlington on Thursday Night Football. And just to make it more fun, we have five bold predictions for the matchup.
