New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys: 5 Players to watch in Week 13
A week after both playing on Thanksgiving, the New Orleans Saints travel to face off against the Dallas Cowboys. Here are five players to keep your eye on.
A week after playing in their respective Thanksgiving games, the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys are facing off in Week 13. Both have legions of fans, stellar defenses and are front-runners in their division. However, the Saints are a clear favorite as they’re easily the best team in the NFC right now.
Looking back on the Saints season, it’s been nothing short of incredible. Drew Brees is playing his best football in years, the offense keeps scoring points and making plays, while the defense has been good. Not as good as the offense, but the defense has never been the Saints’ strong suit. Regardless, the team is on the cusp of punching their ticket to the Super Bowl.
As for the Cowboys, their story has been a little different. Their defense has been star-studded including rookie Leighton Vander Esch but their offense has been decent, to say the least. Dak Prescott has improved slightly but still isn’t getting back to the glory of his rookie days. Thankfully, the team has Ezekiel Elliott to pick up most of the slack for them.
Overall, the Saints are a stronger team and are an obvious favorite when they travel to AT&T Stadium. Before the two meet, it’s time to look at five players who are worth watching and will likely make an impact during the game.
Just to be clear, this list will feature players from both teams, but let’s get into two Cowboys players and three Saints players who you should keep your eye on.
