With the Fantasy Football playoffs arriving, you need your best lineups out there, and these are the guys you should start or sit in Week 13.

We’ve officially hit crunch time in the realm of fantasy football. The fight for the playoffs will finally meet its final sunrise in the next few weeks, as teams jockey for position in the postseason. In these times, there are only three mindsets. If you’re out of the playoffs, you look to play spoiler and at the very minimum, escape the last-place punishments of your league.

Should you find yourself still in the thick of the playoff race, your nerves are likely at an all-time high. Each point matters when it comes to tie-breakers, and one touchdown could likely determine your fate this season. For the elite one percent of fantasy football players, you’ve clinched a playoff spot and are quite comfortable with where you’re at.

No matter where you fall in the fantasy football working class, determining your line-ups is just as important as the previous twelve weeks. Whether you’re jumping for joy that A.J. Green is working his way back to the field, or searching the depths of your bench/waivers due to a Melvin Gordon injury or Leonard Fournette fight-club inspired performance, one fatal mistake in choosing your line-up could cost you a potential championship.

Week 12 in the NFL provided us with some great insight: There’s a definite youth movement in fantasy football performances. With the likes of Christian McCaffery, Saquon Barkley, Baker Mayfield and JuJu Smith-Schuster headlining the top performances of the previous week, perhaps we should look to the playgrounds for inspiration rather than the retirement home.

However, week 13 is finally upon us. No more dreaded bye-weeks or guessing games with your team. To quote the great Dennis Green, “They are who we thought they were”. Let’s go put yourself in playoff position.
