NFL Week 13 certainly got off to a great start when seeing how the Dallas Cowboys continued their recent hot streak by handing the New Orleans Saints their first loss since Week 1, making a major statement about being the team to beat in the NFC East. As for what the rest of the week has in store, football fans certainly have plenty of reasons to be excited when it comes to some of the games scheduled for Sunday.
Back in the offseason, the Minnesota Vikings decided to take a risk by moving on from Case Keenum in order to pave the way for Kirk Cousins at quarterback while rewarding him with quite the hefty contract in the process. After falling just shy of the Super Bowl last winter, the Vikings believed the addition of Cousins on offense would help them get over the hump.
While there’s still time for that to be the case, this year hasn’t exactly gone the way Minnesota thought it would when seeing how the team sits at 6-4-1 heading into Week 13.
Defeating the Green Bay Packers last Sunday was quite impressive to say the least, but it will be interesting to see how the Vikings perform on the road this weekend when they face the defending champions in the New England Patriots on the road.
