This 2019 NFL Mock Draft shows that the first-round could be full of some very talented defensive linemen. Stars can be had from top to bottom in this round.

The playoff picture is starting to shake out this season and that means there are several teams already looking ahead to the draft. We have been doing that already and are ready to once again look ahead with a first-round 2019 NFL Mock Draft.

Of course, we won’t just be looking at the teams that are out of the playoffs. While they will get the premium picks, we will be looking at each franchise for ways they can improve ahead of the 2019 NFL Season.

For any team that’s struggling on the defensive line, they’re in luck. This incoming class of NCAA players is loaded with talent on the defensive line. There are stud pass rushers on the edge like Nick Bosa, Clelin Ferrell, and Jachai Polite. As for interior d-linemen, players like Ed Oliver, Jeffery Simmons, and Christian Wilkins come to mind as a few potential early picks.

There are other studs who stand out as well that can help teams, but this is truly the year to add some help on the line of scrimmage — especially when it comes to defense.

As always, our order is determined by the most recent NFL Spin Zone Power Rankings, which can be viewed here. And with that being said, the New York Jets are on the clock with the first pick in this 2019 NFL Mock Draft.
