2018 NFL Picks, score predictions for Week 14

New York Giants (4-8) at Washington Redskins (6-5)

It feels weird picking the New York Giants to win. For the first half of the 2018 campaign, this team was garbage. However, in recent weeks, it’s as if they flipped a switch and decided to play decent football. Do they have what it takes to upset their NFC East foe in Week 14?

I think so. Anything can happen going on the road, but the Giants seem to have far more momentum as we work our way through the early parts of December.

Earlier in the year, I wouldn’t have hesitated to give this game to the Washington Redskins. They’ve got an underrated defense, and Alex Smith was keeping things running smoothly on the offensive end. However, with Smith injured and Colt McCoy now at the helm, I’ve simply lost my confidence in the Redskins.

Between the Giants’ sudden realization that they’re a decent team and the Redskins’ slip, it makes sense to roll with the G-Men in Week 14. They already played spoiler once in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears, and have a similar opportunity this upcoming weekend. After suffering another defeat, the Redskins can bid their playoff dreams adieu.
