New Orleans Saints (10-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-7)

Sunday, December 9, 1PM ET

Coming off a shocking loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night, the New Orleans Saints need a bounce-back win in a big way. Luckily, a Week 14 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should provide an ideal opportunity to get one.

Some will try to convince you that the Saints aren’t as elite as we once thought they were. However, it’s worth noting that the Cowboys boast one of the very best defenses in the NFL right now. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers own arguably the league’s worst defense, as they’re currently giving up over 30 points per game.

That’ll open the door for Drew Brees and the Saints passing game to gain some confidence heading down the final stretch. Don’t be surprised to see Brees have one of his best games of 2018, putting up huge numbers and striking paydirt over and over against the 27th-ranked pass defense.

Don’t think for a second that the Saints can be disregarded now. They may have been upset by the Cowboys, but they’re still a legitimate contender in 2018. Look for them to make life miserable for the Tampa Bay defense while capitalizing on the inevitable mistakes made by whoever is under center for the Buccaneers.

Without a doubt, it’ll be another impressive outing for New Orleans.

Prediction: Saints win 42-23
