As Week 14 of the NFL season arrives, we evaluate potential waiver wire additions to guide your fantasy football team to victory.

Life, in many ways, is reflective of fantasy football. It takes us through peaks and valleys, can be painfully unfair in the oddest of ways, but teaches us valuable lessons along the way. The most important of lessons, however, is that we must be prepared for anything.

When the Kareem Hunt news made its way into the hands of fantasy football players, it caught many by surprise. Undoubtedly, the horrific events that took place were more than enough reason for Hunt to be let go. Yet, the 99.9 percent of ESPN fantasy owners who drafted him were forced to scramble and find a replacement for perhaps one of their biggest pieces just a few days before game day.

This is about moving forward in fantasy football, as we must do always. And we have waiver claims to submit and games to win. With time more precious than ever as fantasy football playoffs are underway, we must focus on what we can (somewhat) control.

Some of the top performers of Week 13 found themselves dangling on the waiver wire, including Josh Allen (32 points), Chase Edmonds (20 points) and Dante Pettis (29 points). Heading into Week 14, the likes of Matt Breida, Christian Kirk and potentially James Conner are expected to miss some time.

As the weeks go by, every move counts towards whatever you’re fighting for. Whether you’re playing for a heavy lump sum of money, putting your name on your league’s coveted trophy or simply trying to avoid last place humiliation, we’ve got your back in telling you who you should be picking up for Week 14.
