There was a slight shakeup in our 2018 NFL QB Power Rankings after w wild Week 13 that saw some big names lose in some important games
Each and every week, the NFL has several games on the schedule that will be of huge importance to the outcome of the season. In those games, it’s always the quarterback who gets highlighted as the main reason either franchise stands a chance.
This week, for example, we had the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football. While they are never on the field at the same time, the storyline was Ben Roethlisberger vs. Philip Rivers — which if course goes all the way back to 2004 when they were each drafted in the first round of one of the best quarterback classes of all-time.
That’s always the case though when big-name quarterbacks take the field. The story becomes all about them and the success they have. While we all know it takes a full roster to win games, the wins and losses are put on the gunslingers. It’s great when a team is winning, but not so much when they’re losing.
Fair or not, it’s understandable. This is the most important position in the game and if a team wants any shot at winning, they need to have a gun-slinger they can believe in.
With all that being said, we check in on the current condition of NFL quarterbacks with our Week 14 edition of the 2018 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings.
