2. Saints score a pair of rushing touchdowns

Let’s all agree that last week was awful for the Saints offense. The team couldn’t generate anything with the pass and were stalled on the run. The Cowboys defense was all over them the entire game and never let up. Alvin Kamara finished the game with 36 rushing yards on 11 attempts while Mark Ingram finished with 27 rushing yards on seven attempts.

Coming off such a bad game, it could only go up from here, right? First, the team needs to get their run game back in order. The Buccaneers are the perfect team to do that against. With Ingram suspended in Week 1, Kamara finished the game with two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown.

I predict that both Kamara and Ingram will score a rushing touchdown against the Buccaneers. The Bucs defense has been abysmal against the run and gave up over 100 yards to Christan McCaffrey last week. I look for Kamara and Ingram to run all over them including a pair of touchdowns.

Kamara and Ingram need a game to bounce back and right the ship. It’s a chance for them to get their confidence back after last week. Both Kamara and Ingram are huge parts of the passing game, too. It’s going to be a lot for the Bucs to contain so having the dynamic duo in sync is exactly what the Saints need.
