25. player. 53. . LB. Cleveland Browns, Pick No. 6, 2013. Barkevious Mingo

We can’t slam the Cleveland Browns too hard for this pick, because there were busts all up and down the 2013 NFL Draft. Without trying to offer too many spoiler alerts, there will be other players from that night on this list, and there are many who were left off that very well could have been included.

The first we come across is LSU pass rusher Barkevious Mingo. He’s listed at 6-foot-5 and 235-pounds, which already made him a bit thin for an edge rusher, but the Browns felt he would be fine in the 3-4 defense they were running at the time.

As a rookie, he looked to be the player they hoped for. Mingo had 42 total tackles and five sacks for Cleveland while serving in a rotational role. In his second season, he had the same number of tackles, but his sack total fell to just two. In his third season, he was down to 18 tackles and no sacks.

That was his last year with the Browns as they decided to send him to the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2017 fifth-round pick ahead of the 2016 season. He won a Super Bowl with New England before spending a season with the Indianapolis Colts.

Mingo is now with the Seattle Seahawks, but his impact has been minimal. He didn’t do much at all for the Browns, but he has done enough to become a journeyman in recent seasons — and unlike many on this list, he’s still around in the NFL.
