32. Cincinnati Bengals (24)

Even though the Cincinnati Bengals made Sunday’s contest with the Los Angeles Chargers closer than most people expected, it seemed unlikely the team would come out on the winning end when seeing how the two teams compare on paper. While the Chargers continue to be in the hunt for the AFC West title with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Bengals will miss the playoffs for a third year in a row when seeing how Week 14 marked their seventh loss in eight games.

Sadly, Cincinnati’s struggles were already there even before losing key players like Andy Dalton and A.J. Green. But instead of focusing on some of the injuries this team was dealing with on both sides of the football, one has to wonder why the Bengals continue to keep Marvin Lewis around after all this time.

Most coaches in the position Lewis finds himself in would have been fired a long time ago, yet Cincinnati continues to give him chances he clearly doesn’t deserve. Maybe after missing out on the playoffs for a third year in a row, the Bengals will finally realize what a terrible investment Lewis has been, and finally do what’s necessary by moving on since a fresh start for both parties seems like the best option.
