Every season each team has a player or two who don’t meet expectations. Here we look at the biggest bust for every team so far in the 2018 NFL season

Entering the 2018 NFL season there were plenty of teams who had much higher hopes than what they’ve been able to put together to this point in the season. Whenever that happens, there’s usually more than just one reason why.

There are many times where it’s an injury that ruins a season — like what happened to the San Francisco 49ers who saw quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo go down early in the year with a torn ACL. Or like last season when a broken collarbone suffered by Aaron Rodgers kept the Green Bay Packers from being able to contend for a postseason berth.

Other times, the reason a team falls short could be due to players who were supposed to deliver for them failed to live up to expectations. Some examples of this could include back in 2015 when the Philadelphia Eagles gave a massive deal to DeMarco Murray, the running back who led the league in rushing the season before in Dallas.

Murray was a poor fit and the team eas left with egg on their face. This isn’t an uncommon thing as teams often put a lot of faith in a certain player only to be let down.

Here we will look at every team and identify their biggest bust from the 2018 NFL season. While not every team fell apart due to this bust, they all could have been better had these players below lived up to expectations.
