3. Houston Texans

After winning nine games in a row establish a reputation for being one of the top teams in the NFL, the Houston Texans received a big wake-up call last weekend with a tough loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Of course, the Texans must have known their streak was going to end sooner rather than later since it’s better to see it take place in December instead of January.

With that being said, now that Houston’s winning streak is officially over, the team needs to make sure they don’t suffer a second loss in a row when taking on the New York Jets this weekend. The Jets have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the NFL, but between having to make the trip to the east coast along with potential poor weather conditions, the Texans know this game will be far from easy.

Also, Houston faces the extra pressure of having to lock up the division since it would be devastating to see them slip during these final few weeks when they have a comfortable two-game lead at the moment. It sounds crazy to think about the Texans collapsing to miss out on winning the division, but crazier things have taken place in the NFL over the years.
