The Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers in a huge game. They have a chance to win the NFC North and would love nothing more than to do it against their biggest rivals. Here are five players who could help make it happen.

This has been a fabulous season for the Chicago Bears. With a record of 9-4, they are guaranteed to have a winning record for the first time since 2012. They are also seeking their first NFC North title since 2010. Even better, they have an opportunity to clinch the division title in front of their biggest rivals, the Green Bay Packers. The entire franchise and its fans would love nothing more than to have the Packers watch them celebrate a division title.

The Bears are coming off one of their biggest wins in a long time. They faced the top team in the NFL, the 11-1 Los Angeles Rams. The Rams had a high-octane offense. Coming into the game, they averaged 34.9 points per game and amassed 439.9 yards per game. The Bears defense suffocated them, giving up no touchdowns (only 2 field goals) and holding them to just 214 total yards of offense.

This was the signature win that gave the Bears real legitimacy. Yes, before the game many so-called experts gave in to the fact that the Bears would make it to the playoffs, even though nearly all of them predicted another losing record for Chicago. but they expected a quick exit from the playoffs.

Now, however, things are a little different. The Bears are serious contenders. This defense is no joke and the offense is pretty powerful itself. It averages 27.6 points per game and amasses 347.2 yards per game. Additionally, even when the offense doesn’t hum like a well-oiled machine, the defense can help it out.

Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who missed two games because of a shoulder injury, showed some rust with his three interceptions, but did just enough as the defense completely dismantled the Rams.

Now, the Bears look forward to officially clinch their playoff spot. All this playoff talk is fine but it’ll be better once they get their invitation. In order to get that invitation this week, these five players should have a say by their play.
