With their playoff window closing, the Carolina Panthers host the New Orleans Saints who are coming off a big win. Here are four bold predictions for the game.

It’s a battle of the NFC South when the Carolina Panthers host the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football in Week 15. Between the two, it’s obvious the Saints are the stronger of the two, coming off a huge win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they’re gaining momentum after their winning streak ended.

The Saints have also already won the NFC South and there’s really no race behind them. It’d be no understatement to say that they’re one of the most powerful teams in the NFL. As for the Panthers, they looked promising at the beginning of the season and eventually, fell apart. The team has lost their last five games including a big loss against the Cleveland Browns. If the Panthers do win, there’s a very slim chance that they will make the playoffs but it’s only if they win.

Strangely, this is the first time the two teams have met this season. The Saints and Panthers have already dealt with the rest of the NFC South twice. The Saints split the series between the Bucs and beat the Falcons twice. As for the Panthers, they split the series with the Bucs, lost to the Falcons and still have to play them between their matchup with the Saints.

Even though the game doesn’t truly have consequences for them, a division matchup is always worth a watch. Between the poor play of Cam Newton and Drew Brees, it will be interesting to see who plays better.

Before the game kicks off on Monday, here are four bold predictions for the game.
