The Dallas Cowboys and the Indianapolis Colts are set for an important game for both teams this Sunday as both are playing their best football of the season.

Week 15 of the NFL season brings an interesting matchup for football fans in general as the Dallas Cowboys face the Indianapolis Colts in a game in which both would find a win very valuable in their pursuit of a playoff spot and division title.

The Cowboys have won their past five games with wins over the Philadelphia Eagles (twice), Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins and the New Orleans Saints. With those wins, the Cowboys went from a team that was struggling at 3-5 to a team that is currently 8-5 and first place in the NFC East.

Indianapolis has won their six of their past seven games, with their most recent win coming against the Houston Texans in Week 14. That win moved the Colts to a 7-6 record, and they have a lot of momentum going into this game as well. The Colts need a win to stay a contender for the AFC South title as they are 2.5 games back of the Texans, as Houston won Saturday against the New York Jets.

Another factor with this game is these two teams have a history with the two franchises. Not only have they faced each other in the early years of the Super Bowl, but the Cowboys lead the all-time series, 10-6 with the Colts last defeating the Cowboys back in 2002. Since then, the Cowboys have won the past three meetings in 2006 (21-14), 2010 (38-35) and 2014 (42-7).

Even with the history of the Cowboys and Colts going in favor of Dallas, this year’s edition of has the ability to go either way with both teams playing with a lot of positive going on their side. The Colts are the favorites in Vegas at -2.5, but this game is basically a coin flip when deciding to win.

As it is, here are three players to watch in Week 15 for the Cowboys and Colts.
