The Chicago Bears have been far better than few could’ve imagined entering the 2018 season, sitting comfortably atop the NFC North coming into Week 15. They can clinch the division with a win on Sunday at Soldier Field, but it’ll take them doing something big. Matt Nagy’s team must take down a Green Bay Packers team that beat them in comeback fashion in Week 1.
Last week, the Bears pulled off one of the most shocking results of the season, defensively shutting down the Los Angeles Rams and handing them their second loss of the year. Khalil Mack and the defense are perhaps the best unit in the league, and they’ll look to put that on display. More key, however, may be the play of Mitchell Trubisky and the offense as the quarterback still appears at less than 100 percent.
Aaron Rodgers has appeared that way for much of the Packers’ disappointing 2018 season. However, he’s still putting up phenomenal numbers and, now that Mike McCarthy is gone, the Pack is motivated and clinging to a slim chance at sneaking into the playoffs. They’ll need to be masterful in this one to make it happen.
A young Bears team shocked the Packers early in Week 1, but Rodgers and Co. fought back and usurped their rivals to get the win. Chicago surely has not forgotten just that, and it will surely be brought up numerous times throughout this game.

There’s no doubt that the Bears have the postseason on their mind, but they surely haven’t forgotten Week 1 against the Packers either. With both of those things at play in this game, we should see a motivated Chicago team. Then again, Green Bay would certainly love to throw a monkey wrench into the NFC Playoff picture.
