28. Jacksonville Jaguars (26)

It’s probably safe to start wondering why the Jacksonville Jaguars let Landy Jones go. He was signed on Oct. 31, only to be let go roughly three weeks later. For his career, Jones completed 63.9 percent of his passes for 1,310 yards with eight touchdowns and seven picks. While that’s nothing to go crazy over, it shows he can at least move the ball — which is more than we can say about the quarterbacks who remained on the Jacksonville roster.

Blake Bortles already lost his job as Cody Kessler has been their starter the past few weeks. He’s arguably been better than Blake Bortles, but that’s not saying a lot as Bortles was having a very hard time protecting the football.

In Kessler’s latest start, he was able to complete just nine passes in 17 attempts for an incredibly low 57 yards. That was not a typo either, the Jags saw Kessler gain 57 yards through the air. Even worse, when factoring in his six sacks, they were credited with 20 passing yards on the day.

That stat makes it surprising they still were in the game as the Washington Redskins needed a last-second kick in order to seal the win. At 4-10, the Jaguars are surely looking ahead to next season and fixing their quarterback issues needs to be their main goal.
