Sam Darnold has slowly been improving on his 2018 campaign, and the main proponent of his success the past two weeks can be found in Robby Anderson. Anderson, the last few weeks, has been one of the more productive receivers in the league, amassing 11 receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns. The Jets and Anderson performed exceptionally well against Buffalo’s number one ranked secondary, giving hope for at minimum, solidified
Week 16 finds Anderson and the pass-happy Jets hosting the Green Bay Packers, the 29th ranked defense in terms of fantasy points allowed to receivers per ESPN. With Darnold averaging 33.6 attempts per game over the last six weeks, Anderson should again see plenty of targets in a game where the Jets will either be in a shootout with Aaron Rodgers and company, or trying to play catch-up. Remember kids: Garbage time points still count.

Of all the waiver articles you’ll find yourself scouring to find the perfect lineup, you’ll see one common name for Week 16: Mike Williams. Coming off a seven-reception, 76-yard, two-touchdown receiving performance that also saw him add another rushing touchdown, the Chargers second-year player will be one of the most added receivers in fantasy this week. Yet I’m here to spread the good word, and I believe a different Williams will find a better fantasy day: Tyrell Williams.
As the Chargers host Baltimore, one name in the secondary for the Ravens presents a daunting task for LA: Marlon Humphrey. Cornerback Jimmy Smith has struggled in recent games, yet Humphrey has locked down some of the best receivers in the league, proving to be one of the best corners in his young career so far. With Mike Williams tied up with Humphrey, Tyrell Williams will likely see a lot of the struggling Smith as the other starting corner.
He has thrived against tough secondaries this season, scoring 20+ points against the Browns and Titans earlier this year. The Chargers will have tough sledding regardless of who’s lined up on defense, yet if any Williams is primed to have himself a day, look no further than Tyrell.
