1. Oakland Raiders: Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

It’s hard to find a team that’s done more damage to their image this season than the Oakland Raiders have. After landing Jon Gruden as head coach, the sky was the limit. However, the man they paid $100 million over 10 years has done little to help this team.

Instead, he’s torn the roster down and looked bad in doing so. First, they shipped off Khalil Mack but at least they got two first round picks for one of the best edge rushers in the game. The problem was, Oakland added a second-round pick in the deal as well.

Gruden quickly acted like someone else made that deal, which seems to be his M.O. as he later said he was unsure of whether or not Amari Cooper’s trade had been finalized. Of course, when Gruden said this, Cooper was already on the practice field with the Dallas Cowboys.

We now see that Gruden had his scapegoat as general manager Reggie McKenzie was fired recently and all control has been given to Chucky. With him now in control he begins his rebuild and replaces Mack with Nick Bosa from Ohio State. He’s easily one of the most talented players entering the 2019 NFL Draft. Bosa did suffer an injury early this season which meant he didn’t have the kind of numbers he was hoping for. He could have come back, but Bosa decided it was in his best interest to start preparing for the NFL.

There may be some teams that use that to question his dedication, but that won’t be an issue in terms of where he lands. Bosa is a premium edge rusher and can help everyone on that side of the ball get better — and Oakland needs that desperately.
